1871 Spirit Dreaming Wall piece

My Spirit Dreaming design pieces in their many incarnations, refer to our great Gamilaroi Creative Spirit and also the hexagon which is a deep structural pattern found everywhere in the natural world.

This piece is part of my latest run of diffusion ware and is a step in a new direction as I’ve moved to a new stoneware clay which has been pinched thinner and is fired higher to 1280 degrees Celsius resulting in a stronger body matt finish.

The art piece is threaded with silver wire to hang on the wall
