This design speaks to the ebb and flow of our coastal estuaries…..where freshwater meets saltwater……and Hat Head on the mid-north coast of NSW, beautiful Ngaku country, where we holidayed when my boys were little.
This piece is part of my latest run of diffusion ware and is a step in a new direction as I’ve moved to a new stoneware clay which has been pinched thinner and is fired higher to 1280 degrees Celsius resulting in a matt finish.
The piece is threaded with silver wire to hang on the wall
