A long vertically hanging wall shield with markings that reference my great grandmother’s cross to sign colonial marriage and birth certificates with (as she didn’t write in english) and also the patterning of the burrowing crucifix frog. This frog endemic to Gomeroi country, burrows deep into the ground to survive long periods of drought.
